Mr. Farhat Ullah

Mr. Farhat Ullah is the Senior Partner of the firm. He has been leading the firm since 1992. He holds degrees in commerce and law, and is also professionally trained in Alternate Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Farhat Ullah’s key areas of expertise and special interest are constitutional law, family law and civil litigation. In addition to these, he enjoys taking part in complex multi-party litigation involving huge volumes of evidence and difficult issues of law and fact. Mr. Ajay Talreja brings to the Firm over three decades of legal experience, having immediate family members in law profession. In the past Mr. Ajay Talreja has been associated with prestigious law firms and corporations where he has handled a variety of complex commercial, corporate and legal matters for individuals and companies in financial services, pharmaceutical, automotive and telecommunications industries. He specializes in taxation and company law matters and provides a wide variety of services in the field including registration of tax payers, filing of tax and statutory returns, tax consultancy, incorporation of companies, intellectual property and trademark registration. He assists all the firm’s clients, from large corporations to SMEs, partnerships, sole proprietorships, NGOs/NPOs and individuals.
Mr. Talreja holds an MBA from the Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK and earned his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Sindh.

Mr. Riasat Ali

Riasat Ali acquires professional experience of more than four decades representing not just private clients but also government bodies in front of various courts, tribunals, and other dispute resolution forums. He has held the office of the District Public Prosecutor in various districts of Karachi as well as in the High Court of Sindh. His prime area of litigating practice is Criminal Law. He specializes in areas such as arguing Complaints, Petitions and different Applications before various courts, cross-examination of witnesses in criminal courts, defending clients and obtaining orders such as discharge and acquittal of his clients in white-collar crime cases, traditional crime cases and cheque bouncing cases.

He has obtained significant reliefs from the High Court and District Courts in Bail Matters, Quashing Petitions and Criminal Miscellaneous Applications. In addition, he also possesses immense experience in Banking Offences cases.

Mr. Talat H. Shah

Mr. Syed Talat Hussain Shah brings to the Firm over three decades of legal experience, having immediate family members in law profession. In the past Mr. Talat H. Mr. Irfan Siddiqui

Mr. Irfan Siddiqui leads Contracts, Agreements & Legal Documents, Property & Conveyancing practice of the Firm. He has a background in Law and Property & Conveyancing. In the past, Mr. Siddiqui has worked at a major law firm and his experience spans over transaction structuring, analysis of legal and regulatory issues, taxation, valuation and financial analysis. His has vast experience in property transactions, drafting and executing sale purchase contract and in transferring properties in the name(s) of purchaser(s); he has very good liaisons with local authorities and the office of Registrar T-Division.
Mr. Siddiqui obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Karachi.

Mr. Muhammad Roman Khan

Advocate

Muhammad Roman Khan holds LLB (Hons) degree from the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law. He belongs to a family of lawyers; one of them was appointed as a Judge of the High Court of Sindh who was subsequently elevated to the Supreme Court of Pakistan. During the course of his studies, he has also done internships in Law Firms and have taken part in mooting competitions at his University.

Roman joined Lexway Law Firm in August 2021. Family Law and Property Law are his specialized area of practice; he has handled all sorts of cases pertaining to Divorce, Khula, Maintenance, Guardianship and Child Custody, Property disputes, Inheritance and Issuance of Succession and Letter of Administration.

Mr. Sahir Arif Khan

Sahir Arif Khan is a highly skilled legal professional with over two years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law, labour and employment law, intellectual property, and regulatory law. He holds an LLB from S.M. Law College and a Diploma in Taxation Law from the Institute of Business Administration.

Sahir has developed his expertise in corporate law, where he has been responsible for drafting contracts, offering legal counsel to a wide range of clients, and managing complex corporate and commercial legal matters. He also has extensive experience advising on regulatory and labour compliance, preparing suits, petitions, and written statements, and creating tailored legal strategies to safeguard his clients’ interests.

Moiz

Paralegal

Moiz handles the administrative work of the Court and Tribunals. He manages and organizes case files, case diaries and prepare legal documents. He assists the advocates of the firm during case proceedings.

Moiz also co-ordinates with the clients regarding their cases and manages the client’s paper work.
